1.) Collection.

The need to recycle is making profound changes to collection methods. Door-to-door collection involves household solid waste and bulky waste, as well as non-hazardous industrial waste produced by businesses and industries, and must constantly be adapted to suit the population’s needs.

Non-hazardous industrial waste.

 2.) Transfer.

 3.) Sorting.

4.) Composting.

5.) Incineration.

After collection and sorting, the waste must undergo final treatment. Waste combustion generates pollutants that are systematically treated using sophisticated techniques compliant with applicable regulatory standards.

Incineration is one of the solutions. Waste combustion is also a source of renewable energy: it can be used to replace fossil fuels to generate electricity or heat. In this area.

A greenhouse gas (see Biogas and Greenhouse gases ).

Landfills are comprised of sealed sections or pits that collect the fermentation gas (biogas) and drain off the leachate. It is essential that these systems be efficient as the methane in the biogas contributes to the greenhouse effect at a rate 21 times more than carbon dioxide.
As it has a high heating power, biogas can be used when collected to replace natural fossil fuels. AAA Construction & Development, a leader and pioneer in the collection and use of biogas as energy, is developing the generation of electricity at its landfills and, when possible, sells it to the national grid.
When sites reach the end of their operational life, they are landscaped by AAA Construction & Development   Insulated from rainfall, they are restored as a function of their local environment (landscape, vegetation) and their end use (sports ground, woods, parks). 

During its storage and under the combined effect of rainwater and natural fermentation, landfill waste generates a liquid fraction called “leachate”. With a high organic and trace element content, this leachate cannot be discharged directly into the natural environment. It must be carefully collected and treated.

7.) Hazardous waste management.

Paints, solvents, resins, used oils, heavy metals, batteries, fluorescent tubes, crop-care products, industrial residues, soiled packaging materials: all this hazardous waste must undergo appropriate treatment in order to protect the environment and be recycled. The goal is to become the global reference in the area of hazardous waste treatment. AAA Construction & Development   offers specific solutions.

First, the laboratory analyzes a sample and issues an acceptance certificate. The tracking sheet follows the waste; filled out by the producer, then the collector, it lists everyone involved throughout the chain. It is the ultimate traceability document. Filled out by the treatment center, it is returned to the producer and as such is also the treatment certificate.

The residual waste is stabilized and stored in landfills.

We also have mobile laboratories that analyze dispersed quantities of hazardous waste on site. Exchanging data via the Internet, our specialists are able to provide consultancy services on site.

Our activities are divided between consulting (engineering and implementation of tailor-made solutions) and the provision of services adapted to each industrial sector and each type of waste (solvent regeneration; resin regeneration; hydrocarbon-saturated waste recycling; battery, fluorescent tube and soiled packaging recycling; and recovery and recycling of rare and precious metals).

Residual waste.
Refers to waste, whether treated or not, that cannot be treated any further under existing technically and economically feasible conditions, especially the extraction of the recyclable portion or by reducing its polluting nature.

12.) Dismantling industrial sites.
